How Does A Product Life-cycle Management System Work?

Project checking

Normally speaking, the customers shall provide product design, including schematics, layout, PCB Gerbers, drawings, BOM list, MCU programs, assembly SOP, and other components specification documents. GreensTone engineers team would check all the files you provide and make sure there are no missing files. The sales expertise, supply-chain people, engineers, and assembly expertise would Set up a special project management group to do customer demands analysis, reliability analysis, manufacturing analysis, and process analysis. The quality people would develop a quality control process and material quality control instruction.

Project Approval

Build up manufacturing and material quality checking instructions, develop assembly operation instructions, hold project management meetings to explain the project to the team members clearly, and set the time lines to finish a project.

Prototyping

Quick prototyping with 5-20sets production run to test the Structural parts verification and PCBA functional verification.

Small batches

Build up the entire production process, and MI(manufacturing instruction) or SOP (Standard Operating Instructions) for incoming material inspection, finished product inspection and Production in-process inspection. 100-500sets small volume production runs to test the project manufacturing verification.

Bulk production

Start the volume run to achieve target delivery. Monitor the abnormal analysis and improve the product quantity test, develop test fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency.
